Every Thursday 7-9pm, I will hosting a life Drawing Session near my art studio in Purfleet. Surround yourself with creative people in a friendly, relaxed environment and experience the joy that is drawing from life! The model will be a professional life model and we will try and accommodate a mix of genders and ethnicities each week as often as possible! The focus for the next few sessions will be dramatic lighting and Chiaroscuro. This will be an informal class, no experience necessary, just a great way to unwind, improve your life drawing skills and mingle with fellow creatives!

Please bring any materials you might want to work with/experiment with. I will have extra materials that you can purchase if you wish. I will provide a couple of easels if you would rather stand. These are on a first come first serve basis.

suggested materials:

Paper or sketchbook
charcoal/pencils/paint/ink
eraser, putty eraser

Since we are working with dramatic lighting feel free to experiment with black paper (and a white material/pencil/charcoal). I will give a quick demonstration of adding and lifting techniques, which give great chiaroscuro results…

£15 for the general public at the door
