Open Studios at Second Floor Studios and Arts

 

I am super duper excited with the upcoming Open Studio event in London, Woolwich,  this weekend the 17th May 2013. I have been in the studio at Second Floor Studios and Arts for about 8 months now and this is the second Open Studio event I will be taking part in (and this time I actually have some paintings to show!)

 

It’s going to be HUGE!

 

With over 250 Second Floor studio members, all working in different styles and mediums, this Open Studio  is going to be a HUGE art event. The Opne Studio event is also going to host a charity show, which most of us took part in, creating small works on secret “score” cards which will be sold for £20 each (all proceeds go to charity see more here) as well as having a treasure hunt for children, which will inadvertently allow the parents to explore all the studios too:)

 

So if you are looking for something to do on Friday 17th (17:00-21:00) or Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th  (11:00-18:00) and you are in the London area, AND like art, come visit me in my studio! I am in unit 4 studio number 23:) I will also be showing off some never before seen Funk Shizzy jewellery too;)

By car:

Second Floor Studios & Arts is located immediately off the A206 dual carriageway near Woolwich. There is access to the A2/M2, M20 & M25. Charlton and Woolwich Dockyard Main Line stations and The Docklands Light Railway are in close proximity.

By tube:

Jubilee Line (O2) North Greenwich then 161 or 472 from bus stop A to Warspite Road stop. You will then walk back on yourself and turn right down Warspite road and at the end of the road you will see Harrington way and turn left. The big building are labeled by units, I am in unit 4!:)  Regular bus routes (180, 177, 161, and 472) serve the local area.
